ABOUT ME

I love solo travel, and have backpacked on a year long trip through Europe (2009), and considerably in SE Asia (2010), Sri Lanka (2011), Japan (2012), and Indonesia (2013) as well as going to Thailand (2005) and New Zealand (2003) with friends. I also lived/studied in Germany (Frankonia) for 6 months in 2011 which was an amazing experience.

I'm an open minded guy, always looking to see different things, and getting to know different cultures better.

I love to laugh and meet new people; frequently combining the two!
I enjoy nature, and think that sometimes the best way to spend time somewhere is to experience the local environment - either through camping, hiking, swimming, etc.

One other thing, and I wish I didn't have to do it, is that you should mention 'elephants' somehow in your request to at least demonstrate that your request isn't a souless cut-and-paste hotel-seeking exercise.

Had been surfing here and there in 2009/2010; repaid the favour where possible in Melbourne 2010-2013; continued in the beautiful Thun 2013-2017. Haven't been that active in the last couple of years...
