ABOUT ME

My name is Inge. I live in my campervan with the two most amazing dogs I know. Currently I stay in the Netherlands, where I am from. It is a little village in the south/east, near the German border. Atm I’m working in a kitchen and that truly makes me happy.... but it is time to travel again starting in April. Hopefully I’ll meet you during that time.

My first real trip -longer than a week - was in the summer of 2010, when I traveled trough Europe by car for a month. Afterwards I was craving more. That summer I positively changed my mind about traveling.

I really like to cook. It doesn't matter what, I like it all. But I have to say: I eat mostly vegan. I love animals and I don't want to eat or hurt something I love. I think it makes me more creative in the kitchen. Besides, I would love to learn about other cuisines.

I want to meet new people and learn about other cultures, learn foreign languages, see cities trough the eyes of a local, explore and get to know habits, sports or favorite things to do from others. I think I'm a open-minded person, everybody gets a change - no matter what.

PHILOSOPHY

Turn of that automatic pilot! Doing the same thing day after day won’t make you happy. Do the things you wanna do, don’t worry, don’t be lived, life is to short. Live your live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people. Not really to have a couch to offer or to use, but to hang out and do nice things together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a danish family near Copenhagen, Denmark.
I stayed a few days with a traveler in his truck in spain.
I stayed in the caves of Granada, Spain and I stayed with a few friends at a squatted village near Madrid. All those experiences where great and I hope to expand them this year.

I like alternative music most. Punk, rock, crust and all in the middle. I do love electronic music as well, especially tekno. Like to chill on reggae and dub, but also like salsa music.
