About Me

I'm a 19-year-old film and media student from Perth, living in Musselburgh. Half Scottish/Spanish. Can listen to Spanish, and reply in English. I live in a quiet, non-alcoholic flat within student accommodation-- I rarely go out either. I'm quite shy, and hope that meeting people will bring me out of my shell.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling, but I don't have a lot of money so I've joined couchsurfing with the hopes of saving £££, while making friends at the same time!

Music, Movies, and Books

the smiths are my favourite band. 100%. I also like new order, rammstein, slipknot, my chemical romance, pet shop boys, crywank, the decemberists, enter shikari, david bowie.... loads of artists!

as for movies... trainspotting is my favourite film. after that, moulin rouge, blue velvet, moonrise kingdom, it's a wonderful life, babyface, singin' in the rain, one flew over the cuckoos nest...

i'm less interested in books these days, but i love neil gaiman's stuff. i read mostly non-fiction, so i'm currently reading an introduction to postmodernism. after that, i've got into to cultural studies, pyschoanalysis, then a book about the representation of ancient rome in cinema.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a last minute flight to rome. it was the best week of my life, travelling with my best friend. amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot of film/media books you can borrow (they're not all interesting) as well as some kids history books (horrible histories). I can also give tips on filmmaking too, though I'm still learning myself!
