Overview
About Me
I'm figuring out my life right now and have loads of questions. I do know that I've somehow ended up in Louisville, KY. I currently teach English to refugees and work at a coffee shop. I'm beginning to study German and am interested in translation. I'm also interested in graduate studies in some kind of literature or languages, but need to decide if this is the right path for me. Hmm, we'll see! I adopted a cat when she was about a month old and she's been to Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and Indiana.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couchsurfed for the first time when I was in North Carolina starting a new job and was so warmly welcomed! I love traveling and going to new places, but some homey-ness on the road is always nice. I'm excited to use CS to both offer and receive those homes away from home while exploring this great big world we live in.
Interests
I love people. I like to share both the good and the hard, and enjoy learning from others. Good stories are my favorite! Other interests include travel, Scrabble, cats, languages, non-profit work, coffee, cooking, gardening, and candy.
