About Me

32 y/o traveling the world. I work in Tech as a consultant, which provides me months at a time to travel when a project is finished. I am originally from Connecticut, USA, living now in Washington, DC (with stops in between in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Boston).

I got my first passport in Dec 2016 and found myself to be traveling internationally quite a bit, which led to my current state. I’m interested in meeting new people and looking for new adventures, while sharing stories of my life and current travels. I am also a big cook when home. I’m hoping to be able to attempt to recreate a lot of the local dishes that I’ve been enjoying. I am very well traveled in the US, too, and would love to share stories of some of the places I’ve visited domestically in the US.

I can speak English and okay Spanish. My Spanish is improving daily. I’m interested in learning basic phrases of other languages, too, so I can be less dependent on google translate ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Great way to meet people, learn new things, and stay locally while traveling.

I also have a great house in a wonderful, lively neighborhood in DC. Would love to share it when I get back, so people can see and learn why I love DC, which is primarily for its fusion blend of cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading “Dispatches From Pluto”, which is about East Coast Elites from the US who are learning to understand and embrace culture in the Mississippi Delta.

I listen to all music but love ‘90s American music. Been listening to more podcasts these days than music, if I’m being honest.
