About Me
Born in Lancaster, PA, attended University in Pittsburgh, PA and have been living here for 5+ years.
Took a leave from recent coaching job in Pittsburgh to follow my dream of traveling cross country. I've worked as the Head Trainer and Assistant Wellness Coordinator for the University of Pittsburgh as well as a strength and nutrition coach at a local powerlifting gym in the North Side of Pittsburgh. Along the way I plan to do some professional networking but more than anything this is a trip for self discovery, soul searching, and connecting with people across the country.
I've been an athlete my whole life and competitive in many sports such as swimming, running, and powerlifting. I'm a complete nature lover and being active and outdoors is what feeds my soul. Some of my favorite hobbies and activities are hiking, podcasting, meditating, kayaking, rock climbing, drinking coffee.
I'm a free spirited thrill seeker that loves to live a life of adventure.
I don't drink or party much and enjoy peace and quiet.
I love learning about and meeting new people who are open minded and willing to share their life experiences.

CAN I BLOG HERE?!
Monday Jan 15, 2018
Wow, today has been a whirlwind. This morning I was able to get out of my lease- no penalty, thank god- in Pittsburgh leaving me with zero ties or responsibility to come back, allowing me much more freedom on this trip. Thank you all to the people on Couchsurfing for you advice, kind words, support, and hospitality in the planning of this journey. I’ll be leaving on Friday for Chicago where I’ll be seeing Liz Cooper & the Stampede at Lincoln Hall on Saturday night. Sunday I plan to train at Rockwell Barbell and meet up with a competitive powerlifter who will (hopefully be showing me some cool stuff in the area). Fingers crossed all goes to plan, but regardless, this trip is about to be an epic ride.
