Hey there! My name is Beth, and I am an East Coaster, now living on the West Coast. I spent the past three years in Juneau, Alaska (a wonderful place!), before moving to Bellingham, WA this past spring.

I love romping around on glaciers, and exploring mountains, as well as playing classical violin and learning to fiddle! Also, a big fan of my husky, Bentley.

I am planning to pursue a Masters in Counseling in Fall of 2019. Spreading compassion, grace, and kindness is the most important piece of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I picked up my belongings and moved to Juneau, Alaska about a two years ago. I knew no one, yet fell in love with this romantic small town. I'd love to share in your freshness of perspective as you enter this place; it's like no other.

I interned with a nonprofit reconciliation program in Nairobi, Kenya. I'm also just getting into mountaineering, and went to the Stikine Icefield this past spring!
