Overview
About Me
You should know that I'm extremely chill and ready for anything. I like anything that leads to a good story.
I'm a high school teacher of the science variety. I love my job and I actually travel with my students every two years. Getting them out of their own little bubble is very important to me!
I have a great dog, Wyatt. He also enjoys meeting people and has traveled a bit-tho not as much as me. I also have a cat Sookie who followed me home when I was walking Wyatt. She stayed. She's okay for a cat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As most people who love to wander the world I enjoy meeting people from all walks or runs of life, trying new food, seeing new places and just experiencing what the world has to offer.
And since I've been fortunate enough to have benefitted from others generosity when traveling I thought this would be a great way to pay it back, or forward. Plus, who doesn't want more like minded friends?
Interests
Besides travel: live music, sporting events, reading and writing. And I love food! I would eat out every night if I could afford it.
I also hike, horseback ride, boulder, and kayak on occasion. I love the outdoors and I'm getting back out after a 4 yr recovery from a dislocated ankle and broken leg. It's a story.
I'm also a huge football (American) fan-tho not a fan of the hometown team. I travel once a year to see the team I sadly picked. Ask if you want to know, it's a story!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I studied scorpions in college for 2 years - which are not at all native to this region. I had 12 of the little critters in my care and still love them to this day. I even took one of them on a trip with me, because really why not?
What I Can Share with Hosts
A great time in Baltimore and surrounding areas if you ever come to visit! I have traveled the entire state and can probably find something to show you that you didn't even know existed.
