ABOUT ME

I am a fan of old jazz; old houses; gardens made with love; good design; dancing of any sort dark beer in the winter and crisp beer in the summer (oh heck any good alcoholic beverage); fresh food from the garden, artfully prepared; sitting around b-s-ing with friends (including ones I just met); old movies nobody else wants to see (so I Netflix); documentaries; sunny days; snow. Also a fun hobby is trying to figure out men.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was about a year ago. My friends were hosting a surfer from San Francisco and we all had dinner together. We all had a great time. Then I surfec in Ashland, Oregon and Florence, Italy. Everyone was so great! My housemate and I have hosted two surfers and now we are on our way to New Orleans, surfing of course!

Currently reading about Italy but usually enjoy novels of any sort.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving birth was the most amazing. Raising two little ones to beautiful women comes in second. Getting a book deal was pretty cool. Siena sunsets come to mind (and fill my eyes).
