About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Saving up for 2 months of summer travel!

ABOUT ME

We met in Atlanta, left a year later to backpack together around South America, been in DC now for almost 3 years. We love the amazing museums, events, and places to visit in DC as well as the different communities we are a part of here.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't own a watch and I don't plan on owning a watch. Time is irrelevant. - Jean

Experience as much as possible in this incredible world, and try to make an impact along the way. -Beth

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We surfed a handful of times in South America - every host was wonderful and unique and we definitely agree it was the best way to travel. It's much better to be in a new city with someone who can name their favorite places and give advice. Once we got settled in DC, we started hosting within a few months. Now we've had over a dozen surfers and the experience is equally amazing. It's also been fun traveling our own country through CS.

Interests

We love to cook and will happily cook for our hosts. Be careful if you ask us for the recipes, because we WILL go into detail and tell you every step of preparing the food. And we love spice, spicy, tasteee food. When we can´t cook, we love trying street food in all the new cities we pass through. Also, we are beer aficionados and have eagerly tried all new brews we´ve encountered. Cats Princess and Snowflake. If we are seeing the sights with you, you may be forced to take jumping pictures, or at least hold the camera.Other interests: comedy, dancing all night, buying cheap DVDs, llama fetuses, putting off larger life decisions
