About Me

Hi! I am a fun-loving and adventurous pre-medical student who loves to travel around the world and volunteer in unique spaces. A few things: I am neat and organized, love the Russian, French, and English literary classics (Hugo, Dickens, Dostoevsky, and on) and am always ready to run or hike. I am a plant-based cook and love to imagine a new vegan, gluten-free recipe for close friends and family. You'll find me to be a calm, articulate listener with an open mind and humorous insight.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not sure what Couchsurfing will be like, but the collaborative community is very attractive. Couchsurfing seems like true opportunity to make friendships in diverse parts of the world. I'm on Couchsurfing to travel the world, meet new people, and share and learn from new friends. Also, I love the human aspect of this service. It is a step away from the cold, sanitized hotel room and embraces a reimagined network of pre-modern (I'm kind of kidding) hospitable and vulnerable humans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016, I spent six months working as a medical assistant near Mafinga, in East Tanzania, East Africa. My work in Africa was centered around preventative health.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach rudimentary Swahili, how to cook vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free (and delicious!) plant-based meals, and also can play the piano and guitar (classical).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am able and willing to cook, clean, do light chores around the house and generally be a useful person! Feel free to be upfront about certain expectations or tasks that you'd like me to do, and I'll be happy to accommodate you, if at all possible.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, United Arab Emirates

Countries I’ve Lived In
