About Me

After high school, I decided that I wanted to work and travel before starting college. I'm a hard worker so that I can travel new places! I've been employed by the same company for about 2.5 years and I moved up the ranks quickly. Right now I help open stores for the owners of the store. Depending on the week, I could be working anywhere from 35-90 hours a week. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love going to concerts and I've been to quite a few to prove it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend and I are looking to volunteer and travel to different parts of Europe this May/June. We would be volunteering in Italy and would like to travel to other countries as well. We want to minimize travel costs while still having the full Europe experience.

Interests

I love music, especially when it's live! The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys, Bon Iver, Florence and the Machine, Walk the Moon, etc, etc, etc. are all great bands that I love! I also love fashion (hmmm I work in retail, makes sense!). I use sites like Pinterest to get ideas and then try and do something similar and give it my own twist. I would eventually like to go into Fashion Design with an emphasis on the Business side of things. Lastly, I love to travel! I swear I fall in love with places that I've never been to and I travel to them and just love them all the more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was a part of a flash mob at Machu Picchu in Peru. It was set up by the government in Cuzco to promote tourism and the safety of the country. We were given 5 minutes on a restricted area to complete the dance then we were kicked off. A bunch of us were also interviewed by cameras for the video they were creating of it. The group I was with yelled, "The only thing that gets captured is your heart!"

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to write here, but I have volunteered to teach English before?
