Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and meeting new people; the best advice I ever received was to "go where the locals go." My family is also very important to me. I love the at-home-away-from-home feel couchsurfing offers.

Interests

I collect maps, friends and stories. I have them from every place I've ventured. I love the outdoors and hiking. I have a long history with sports, I have participated in nearly every sport under the sun! I currently attend Ohio University for Occupational Therapy and International Education. I also have studied Photojournalism at my college. I love to capture all that the world has to offer through my camera. I would say I am an aspiring story teller.

Oh geez, I can't think of just one! I've survived cliffs, canyons, bears, and armed sheep farmers. I guess we'll just have to meet for you to hear the all the stories.

Teach, Learn, Share

My favorite thing to do is swap stories and adventures with others. There is so much to learn from the everyday encounter.
I was educated as a Photojournalism student at my university and would love to teach and share all that I know about how to capture the world around us!
I am learning Spanish. My goal is to start dreaming in Spanish soon!
I am an native English speaker, I am more than willing and patient to share my language.
I would love to learn how cook new, ethnic dishes to share with my family and friends at home.
I take my camera everywhere. I have been published as well as payed to take portraits before. If you'd like to add to your collection or need some taken I would be more than happy to help you out!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always ready for a pickup game of rugby, as long as you will be patient with my Americanized habits. I love all other sports as well, and I am on my University's rowing team. I am not against cooking for my host.
