i am an artist: a designer, a photographer, and a writer. for me composing words on the page regarding my character in nigh on impossible but i will attempt to give an outline.

at nearly six-and-twenty i possess a soul far older than my years. i revel in knowledge, submerge myself within the pages of books, and a glutton for the lost and forgotten.

i have a unique mind, i am a logical person and have an intensely structural routes to my thought process; i can analyze a scenario from every angle in moments, however i don’t get lost in those thoughts, i credit this to the fact i'm an artist which makes me remarkably flexible to possibilities. i thirst for others to share their knowledge with me and welcome every opportunity to be taught. i appreciate intellectual warfare while i avoid physical or emotional conflict.

i've been told that i'm never what one expects and i'm not your typically lass. i'm quirky, possibly a little nerdy. i listen to classical music, drink whiskey, and smoke cigars on rare occasions. i do not lack confidence nor am i void of humility. a passionate self-discovering sort and a firm believer in knowing one’s self. i can’t say i know all the small facets of myself but that’s probably because i’m constantly maturing into my inexorable self. i'm drawn to an individuals past and how they lived. languages lost, songs unsung, techniques abandoned, and honor forgotten. innovative and resourceful, enjoying both overcoming obstacles and puzzling out conundrums. i appreciate challenges in life, it cause me to be flexible and imaginative. i'm driven, stubborn, caring, and gentle but forceful. i’m equally as comfortable with my camera as an ax or hammer. i don’t shy away from bruises, blisters, or sore muscles so long as sleep in a warm bed in the not so distant future. i've been told that i have an infectious smile and i love to laugh.

i was raised with the idea that the world is an immense place with wonders that should be seen. i've spent most of my life looking for the raw beauty of nature. i’m attempting to stop planning and take moments for what they are here one second and then gone but they leave behind a story.

this is a tool that allows me to meet persons who are willing to take me around their place; adding chapters to my story.

the word innumerable comes to mind when contemplating my interests, i'm cronically passionate. i'll briefly mention a few.

closed system sustainable living. from growing food requirements; vegetables, fruits, grains, and berries to rearing livestock for every useful purpose. greenhouse permaculture, canning/preserving, smoking/curing meat, drying medicinal and culinary herbs, water collect, et cetera. building using recycled, restored, and sustainable material. spinning, weaving, knitting using natural fibers.

design. i design furniture, edible landscapes, architectural structures, and interior spaces. however i also do the hands on works myself whether it's building a kitchen table, restoring a vintage piece, or renovating an entire home.

foreign cultures, traditions, languages, and forgotten history.

photography.

writing, currently i'm endeavoring to write a children's book.

horses. from daily chores to the enjoyment of spending a day in the saddle. preference being the warm blooded draft horses.

cooking. i find immerse pleasure in cooking for others and am quite skilled in the practice.
