My names Bethany, I'm 22 and I've lived and grown up on the edge of the Lake District in the North West of England. I used to live on a farm for about 3 years which I think helped me become the mature, level headed and down to earth young woman that I am today :)
I love anything outdoors, and don't mind getting my hands dirty, good job really as currently have 3 dogs (used to have 5!)
I have a great sense of humour and try not to take life too seriously!
I have strong family values, family and friends are some of the most important things to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been saving up over the last 12 months to go traveling and my time is nearly here! I'm starting off with a month in Thailand throughout October 2016 and then onto Australia for up to 12 months (with a working holiday visa)
I'm traveling with a female friend, the same age as me.

I have a massively varied taste in all three! I'm not that bothered as long as it makes me feel something :)

I've achieved my Gold Duke of Edinburgh award, whereby I had the honour of meeting Prince Philip.

I've never used couch surfing before, but with being on a budget whilst traveling I thought I'm more than willing to earn my keep with a host.
