ABOUT ME

I am a 30 year old American based in Hawaii. I have lived all over the U.S. My interests include spirituality, traveling, medicine, music, swimming, hiking, politics, new languages, and farming. After graduating from college, I moved to Vietnam in 2008 to teach English. I like to travel by volunteering in the country I'm visiting whenever possible.

After spending my 20's working to finance my travels, I am embarking on a different sort of adventure closer to home: nursing school.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a handful of CS experiences and they have all been very positive so far.

Unfortunately the CS community in Hawaii is not strong yet, but hopefully that can change in the future.

Interests

traveling, politics, movies, languages, music, learning traditional cooking from the places I travel, motorbikes, deserts, beaches, exercising, dancing, spirituality, meditation, primitive cultures and lifestyles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Machu Picchu in Peru.
Motorbike rides across Asia.
Traveling alone in India for 5 months.
Traveled to Jiddah, Saudi Arabia as part of a legal team defending Islamic charities.
