My goal is to always keep wonder in my life, and I've found travel does that more than anything. I went on a vacation to Hawaii three years ago from Seattle and never left. Since then the island has inspired me to explore my passions of travel, writing, and meeting new people.

My family moved to the United States when I was 5 from Budapest Hungary, and I've had a need to explore new places ever since. I'm a 23, free-spirited, easy going, and am always up for a good laugh. I double majored in International Studies and Computer Science Engineering at the University of Washington in Seattle until I decided I would get my education first hand instead of at a desk. Hawaii seemed like the perfect place to find like minded wanderers, and I was right :)

Have been living between Croatia and Australia the last few years and just moved back to OAHU!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've found that there is no better way to experience a culture than getting somebody who knows it firsthand to show you the ropes. One of my favorites things to do in a new place is just walk around a city or town for hours on end, and it doesn't hurt having someone to do it with you pointing out their favorite spots. I'm new to couchsurfing and am so excited to see what it has to offer.

Interests

I absolutely love a good concert or ANY live music- huge/ small/ even somebody just playing tambourine in a cafe haha SIGN ME UP. Also I really enjoy stand up comedy- I've always had a huge amount of respect for any one that puts themselves out there like that. Who knows maybe one day it'll be me? The water also is always calling me. I moved to Hawaii so I could never miss an opportunity to go swimming, surfing, paddle boarding, you name it. If it's in the water, I'm in.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is my lifeline. I'm constantly listening to something, or theres a song stuck in my head. I have a love to all types of music. Anything from Classical, to House music, to Country, to Rap and Hip Hop. Growing up my mom was a pianist and violinist giving me a huge appreciation for anyone that can play. And from her taste a deep rooted love for Sam Cooke.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This last year I spent a few months in south Brazil, then continued onto Rio for the 2016 Olympics- absolutely unbelievable experience!
