ABOUT ME

I have been biten by the travel bug and I couldn't be happier! I have a huge passion for traveling, seeing new sites, and getting immersed in unknown cultures. I have worked with kids my whole life and would love to teach English at some point during my travels.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have Couch Surfed once with a great guy in Dunedin. He was an awesome host and had a great first experience. I also used to attend weekly Couch Surf meet-ups in Auckland, New Zealand when I lived there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couch surfing once in Dunedin, NZ. My brother and I were traveling and stayed with an amazing group of uni student close to campus. They showed us the town and took us to an All Blacks game. It was the best first experience I could imagine and would love to pass on the same to surfers staying with me!

Interests

I love doing anything in the outdoors. Hiking, biking, kayaking, lounging by the ocean. I also enjoy playing sports with friends. I really enjoying sitting down with a glass of wine and having conversations with other people. There is so much you can learn from the lives of people near and far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been chased down the Zambezi River by a hippo, went bungy jumping in Queenstown, New Zealand, went scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, and watched the sun rise over Machu Picchu. I've done so many awesome things and cannot wait to keep crossing more off the bucket list!

I have a basic knowledge of Spanish and enjoy (attempting) to speak the language.
