Interests

I spend nearly all of my disposable income on travel, and most of the rest on food and wine, and books. I love to cook and one of my favorite past-times is cooking for and sharing meals with friends. I also love wine - some of my favorites are big, bold, Australian Shiraz from McLaren Vale or thereabouts! I read nearly anything, but historical fiction has always been a favorite genre of mine. I also love animals, learning languages, camping, hiking, kayaking, doing anything on or near water and photography, among much else.

I enjoy life wherever it takes me, and always enjoy new places to explore and people to meet! I don't know that anything I've done is "amazing" ..?

I used to be semi-fluent in French, but have lost most of this. I also know some German, and I'm fluent in English
