About Me

I graduated from college with a BA in International Studies and a minor in French. During college, I lived in Caen, France for 9 months as an international student, taking classes at l'Université de Caen while working as an English teacher at a French middle school.
Other cultures and individuals fascinate me, and I worked at a refugee relief agency this past summer, where so many people warmed my heart. I loved making a positive difference in people's lives, helping them find jobs and transition to life in the US. All the people I met were amazing, and I'm looking forward to finding a job similar to this in which I can meet people from all different backgrounds and help where it's needed. I hope to ultimately make whatever corner of the universe I end up in a better place.

I recently returned from living in Japan for several months, where I taught English to Japanese students. I had an amazing time there and absolutely loved the people and the culture :)

I'm also a vegan, can play the viola, and am an inherently curious person that loves to listen and learn!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to learn, share, grow! Many friends from around the world have recommended this site to me as they have had success with it as a traveler or a host themselves. I also have been a frequent attendee of Lancaster Couchsurfing meetups. I always enjoy meeting new people who stop by and catching up with the wonderful people who attend often. :)
