ABOUT ME

Down-to-earth scientist exhuming herself post-grad school. I love meeting people, old friends and new. I enjoy thinking, imagining, exploration, adventure, and learning new skills. I love learning and connecting dots.

I have visited 40 states (80%) so far, with a few more to go this year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I crashed a lot of CS potlucks two years ago to hang out with my friends, so figured I would join. I am so glad I did. I have now spent several months last year traveling, have surfed and traveled with some awesome CSers, have gone to events with friends, and now that my housemates are down, will host whom I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This community is amazing. CS empowers us to connect with positive, like-minded travelers wherever we decide we want to go. It has been a brilliant experience meeting people all over from all over for travel and friendship. CS enriches life and elevates travels.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

kite surfed, windsurfed, white water kayaked, spelunkadunked, microinjected neurons.
Discovered a gene that gives mice brain tumors.

I can teach biology/science, some Southern US culture, how to write a killer CV/resume, life skills, social skills, piano.
