We're married over 32 years w/three great adult children, an awesome daughter-in-law, and two exceptional grandkids, but none live with us anymore. So it's quiet here, and we'd love to have those beds used and hear the sound of young voices...

Met some couchsurfers while visiting son in Uganda, and realized we want to be a part of this community, and have hosted several groups and individuals since.

We've seen barriers broken down; cultural, generational, religious... We've visited many places in our lifetime, but our recent experiences in Uganda were as life changing as anything to date...
Beth: I walked the Camino de Santiago with our daughter, more than 500 miles across northern Spain

Teach, Learn, Share

Without relationship it's difficult to teach or learn. If there is relationship, there can be true give and take. The skills we've learned have been devoloped from our experiences more so than from any institution.
