Overview
About Me
My spouse and I have lived in DC for three years. We love the outdoors and are trying to live a minimalist lifestyle to reduce our carbon footprint. We are mostly vegan and keep a vegan kitchen. (We do not host single men-you are not the exception. Thank you for respecting our space.)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are on couchsurfing because we like to meet people from all over. We enjoy learning about other people lives and hearing about adventures they have been on, or are on. Couchsurfers make me get out and explore DC.
Interests
We love to ride bikes and explore. We enjoy cooking and sharing meals (vegetarian/vegan) with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
We like a lot of different types of music. Our current favorites are probably Mariachi Flor de Toloache and Janelle Monáe. We are the type of nerds that watch things like The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy to Spirited Away, and play games like Munchkins and Exploding Kittens.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We completed the adventure of a lifetime in October 2015. It was a trip that was both wonderful and awful, in the best way. We were able to see some incredible places, travel back roads, have close encounters with wild life, and learn a lot about each other and what we are capable of. We are currently planning our next big adventure.
Teach, Learn, Share
We have a lot of craft supplies. If you are coming to DC to protest against Donald Trump we welcome you to use our paints and markers to make your signs.
I can navigate the city pretty well by bike and I'm willing to go on a bike ride with you if that is something you are interested in doing.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook dinner most nights and I’m happy to share a home cooked meal with you should that fit into our schedules.
