About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Go to great places and meet great people!

ABOUT ME

I take every opportunity to travel, and usually end up doing so on my own, so I know that making new friends in new places is really important because it makes travelling ten times more fun and worthwhile!

Willing to help out in any way I can for those who graciously host me. I'm not much of cook, but l can bake sugary treats and i'm a hell of a washer-upper, or I could just get you some wine!

Morning is not my friend. More like my enemy. So I'm sorry if you find your home has been invaded by a reanimated corpse until my second cup of coffee.

PHILOSOPHY

"Be who you are and say what you want, because the people that mind don't matter and the people that matter don't mind." Dr Seuss knows best!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

surfing at the moment, but when i'm home my couch will be available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just starting out, but have already had some incredible experiences, all down to some pretty wicked hosts who i'll not forget!

Interests

Kickboxing, tae-kwon do, camping, running, hiking, horse riding & skiing. Reading and creative writing too. I love to volunteer and contribute to conservation projects whenever possible, but always looking to be more involved. I love music of all types, art and selflessly unburdening the world of wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books- Anyone called Terry that writes fantasy generally has my vote.
Stuff by Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson. Jack Kerouac, Steven King, Marcus Zusak, Joseph Boyden, Khaled Hosseini, Carlos Ruiz Zafon and Jeffrey Eugenides (and many more).
Movies and music- pretty much everything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been up close and personal with some cheetah cubs and bengal tiger cubs. All in humane, conservation-focused sanctuaries, where the focus was learning about the animals and protecting them; rather than being entertained by them. Each experience was breathtaking and nurtured my desire to work in wildlife conservation.

(Also sky diving and bungee jumping)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach self-denfense techniques.
I want to learn anything & everything! On a more realistic note I would really want improve my Spanish language skills. I would also take any opportunity to improve my camera skills, learn more about conservation and environmental protection. I am also lacking in the musical-skills department, which I would love to rectify!
