About Me
ABOUT ME
I have just deleted an old ‘About Me’ paragraph that described myself while travelling in Asia a few years ago. It’s strange to update it now. 5 years ago my life fell apart so I put my things into storage and I bought a plane ticket to the East. I returned a year later just before the pandemic, and since then I’ve been rebuilding a new life in the same city. The city is Edinburgh and although I’m not from here, this feels like home.
I live with my partner and old granny dog (she’s 14 and acts like a lovable and quirky granny). I have two forms of work - I am co-director of a worker-run wholefoods shop (which embodies everything that makes life worth living), and I am a freelance massage therapist.
I love music (either music that make my body move or that moves my soul or preferably both!), I love going slow and appreciating the sights and smells of ordinary and extraordinary life, I love relaxing on the sofa with a book, I love being with good people and being quiet on my own…..
