Hello, I am Betty-- your average human bean. I am a mediocre cook, enjoy silliness as my day job, prefer to dig in the dirt, and try to let love and truth rule me most of my days.I love people who know the secrets, but don't tell them...people who speak what they feel, not what they ought to say. I understand that most often I'm a hostage to my own humanity, and I'm okay with that. Because being old is really being young, and time is just a nonsensical metaphor that plays mind tricks on us anyways. So RIDE THE WAVE, as maw maw would say.
