ABOUT ME

Since 2010 I have lived in Sisimiut, Greenland with my boyfriend (Hans Skifte also member of CS)
We both like to travel and in 2014 we decided it was time to do something new, so we quit our jobs, sold all our stuff and travelled the world for about a year. We came back to Sisimiut about 4 years ago and now we hope to give back some of the amazing hospitality that we met during our travels.
Life has changed a lot for us since we got back to Sisimiut. We have become parents to two wonderful kids who now take up most of our time.
We have spent three months traveling during the maternety leave with both kids. With our first kid we did a long roadtrip in a campervan around Europe. After our girl was born we traveled by car around Italy, Germany and Denmark for a few months.
In 2021 we moved to Nuuk where we now have a busy life with two kids and therefore don’t host guests at the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is a great way to meet locals when visiting new countries.

Interests

Love the outdoor. In the winter I used to go sledding with my dogteam of 14 Greenlandic sleddogs. After our return to Sisimiut the dogs have been replaced with a snowmobile, so now we're exploring the backcountry in a new way. I also like cross country skiing.
In the summer I love sailing in our motorboat, going on overnight weekends with the boat or hiking in the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very wide taste in music, but must admit, deep down I'm a sucker for happy popmusic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completed a 100km cross country skiing race over 3 days, where you sleep outside in a tentcamp in -20 degrees.
