ABOUT ME

My name is Bea and I am a Freelance Designer & Illustrator. I am an easy going person, curious of other people and other cultures. I love art, sewing, theatre, sport and traveling. Together with my husband Tomek (who works as an IT Programmer), we do smaller and bigger trips as often as possible :).
We are a friendly couple that love discovering the world and experience new adventures:).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to travel around Europe with my Friends, experiencing couchsurfers hospitality. Then lived and studied in France where I have attended a few couchsurfing meetings. At the moment I live and work with my husband in London where we share a house with our friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Everything's started when I did a hitchhiking trip from France (Rennes) through to Paris, Holland (Amsterdam) and Belgium (Antwerp). I did enjoy couchsurfers hospitality in Amsterdam and then Antwerp.
Afterwards I started attending some of couchsurfer's meeting in Rennes where I could see some pictures from different trip around the world. After that I had a small break from couchsurfing only because I had to finish my uni and find a job...
As a couple we enjoyed couchsurfer's hospitality in Gambia and Senegal where me and my husband met some amazing people in Dakar, where we slept on the roof admiring the sky and some traditional african music.
At the moment we travel as a family. Our daughter is 3 and our son is 1.
We are travelling to Mexico through Madrid adn are in search of a couch for one night in Madrid...
We are excited about our new couchsurfing experience!

Interests

Personally I love art, I am a keen painter and illustrator. I have started working as a Freelance Designer & Illustrator in order to be more independent and spend more time with my kids.
I love practising sport, I have already do 10k, half marathon and a full marathon.
My husband loves all the IT related things, sport (especially football) and cooking. He is a great cook! :)
Together we love traveling and experiencing some adventures:).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made my husband a Christmas gift wich was a flight ticket to Sri Lanka.. He was quite thrilled to discover it :):):).
