About Me

CURRENT MISSION

“Meeting the world one person at a time”

ABOUT ME

Well I'm not so sure how to start so I´m just gonna do it. I'm an industrial engineer. I'd never been abroad until I was 20, when I went to a work and travel program in U.S. and literally this experience opened up my world. I've traveled a bit since then and now I can say I love it. I really enjoy meeting new people and get a grasp of their background, their culture and offer a little bit of mine in return. About me you should know that I'm easy going, I like outdoor activities and I'm always willing to try new things.

PHILOSOPHY

- Live Simply
- Try new things
- Do the right things

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only been to a CS party in my hometown and it was great. I surfed in Rusia and if I could summarize my experience it would go something like this: the sights will always be there, but an amazing company makes the experience unforgettable! Thanks to CS this is more true than ever for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A friend invited me to travel with her in Egypt and stay in her boyfriend´s house (he's Egyptian). Two days prior to my travel she sent me an email saying that she'd had an accident and was already back in London. I wasn't able to return the plane tickets so I headed to Cairo anyways to hang out with her BF who I'd never met before. I have to say it turned out to be for the best, because I got to meet Mido from scratch and he showed me Cairo in a way, which not too many tourist have the chance to. I visited mosques, markets and even fasted (it was Ramadan). Definitely a life changing experience.
