ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Beto Álvarez, im currently studying College in another city, 4 hours away from Cozumel, named Merida. Im in Cozumel for holidays and vacations and i'd love to host people from all around the world.

Currently i'm studying Physiotherapy, and I love every part of it. On september 05, i'll begin a new adventure, i'll go to Madrid and study for a year as an exchange student in La Universidad Europea de Madrid.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think couchsurfing is an excellent tool that can help to great things, like better understandings between people from different cultures and points of view, and with this, achieve World Peace.

I can host people, in Cozumel or Merida, and i'd love to be hosted from people all around the world and learn from what they have to say.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I'm a huge fan of J.K. Rowling, i love all the seven books of Harry Potter. I also had read books of Paulo Coelho, Henry David Thoreau, Edgar Allan Poe, Charlotte Brontë, José Saramago, Antoine de Saint Exupery, etc.

Movies: I enjoy every type of movies, among my favorites there are Amelie Poulain, Fight Club, The Illusionist, Burnt Money, The Village, Billy Elliot, Freedom Writers, and i love all the movies of Mexican director Alejandro González Iñarritu.

I can hear every type of music, but i must write here that my favorite bands are: Coldplay, Oasis, Zoé, Incubus, The Killers, The Beatles, and Jimmy Eat World.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to the Amazon Forest, and camped in there. Wild and Fun!

I'm always open to learn new things, I believe i'm a good listener. I can teach things of my career, some biology, Phyisology and anatomy, and a lot of Mexican history and culture!
