To see knew things and experience the world around me as richly as possible.

ABOUT ME

I go where I feel like. I try the things that interest or that seem exciting. I've had a strange assortment of journeys and occupations over the course of my life--musician, preacher, waiter, roller coaster operator, Christmas caroler and bus driver. I've been on three continents (N. America, Europe, Africa) but hopefully that number will soon grow. I'm not nearly done rambling yet!

PHILOSOPHY

You only get one shot at life, you might as well fill it with the things you love. Follow Icharus' example, everybody focuses on the fact that his wings burned for flying too close to the sun. No one talks about how much more of the world he saw than anyone else.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I'm planning to start doing some surfing. When I have a place of my own (ie. roommates I think would be down with it) I plan to be a host too.

Interests

Playing Music. Listening to Music. Talking about music. Hiking. Backpacking. Roaming outdoors, trying to figure out the universe. Driving long distances. Seeing crazy and unusual sights.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a strange assortment of music, but I won't say I like anything--because it's not true. Classic rock, punk rock, folk/bluegrass, and very few underground hip hop artists. Neil Young and Bob Dylan are my homeboys.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm, Africa changed my life. The Black Hills are the most amazing place on earth--next to Glacier National Park.
