ABOUT ME

"Hey, you sass that hoopy Daniel? There's a frood who really knows where his towel is."

ehm.. quite difficult to tell "all about" myself. Of course the first sentence should give a picture, but if it don't, I've chosen a few more highlights.
First of all I'm a nice young fellow, generally in a good mood and always ready to learn something new and meet you and other people.
I like to be with friends, listen to music and enjoy a nice quality beer (or just a cup of tea).

On everyday basis I study physics and love it. Spend a lot of time at the University - usually this mean the University of Aarhus, but during this semester I am on exchange at Paris 7.

When I was younger I spend many a summer holiday in Norway or Sweden with my family in a cottage. Another way for me to spend me holidays was to go to work with my father, who at that point was a lorry driver, so it meant driving up and down (approximately) each and every road in Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands. Because of that, to me, the most calm way to see Europe is from the back of a truck.

By the way did I mention that I am quite, but not completely, a great fan of Douglas Adams and everything he has ever written.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Tom Waits and many others - simply like to listen to old LPs. I like a bit of classic music too and a lot of danish music. But most of all I listen to what ever is on the radio.

Books:
Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams (he's brilliant), JRR Tolkien. By the way I like Cartoons too, Marvel and DC, most of Alan Moore's, Kick Ass, but especially Garfield and the king of them all: Calvin and Hobbes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the sunrise on a clear and frosty wintermorning in a grey concrete ghetto, where the rubbish were frozen walkway making it even harder for the caretaker to keep the paths clean (I've seen the first day in spring too - it's nearly as amazing). By the way I've seen Mona Lisa/La Gioconda too, she also nice.

Teach, Learn, Share

Could teach you how to order two large beers and a aquavit in Danish and a bit of physics... :-)
Could also teach some card/dice games or try to explain how Denmark can be a democracy and still have a Queen.
