About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling but have limited funds so whenever there's a chance, I always prefer to spend it on activities and food instead of accommodation. Primary reason for travelling is to see the cultures and architecture of the world - and no, I'm not an architecture professional :) I wanted to be a historian and librarian before though. I'd love to visit the old civilization but my priority would be close to home for now - Asia and the Philippines. I've couch surfed before in HK but it was outside of this site. Around 15 of us from the Philippines was hosted and the funny thing is, we were all there just to see a Laruku concert!
Interests
Hobbies - jigsaw puzzles, reading, manga, dancing, food, food and.... Food!
Usual travel activities - getting lost. Lol. What I meant is just walking in a general area and just plain exploring with not much agenda. Visiting historical/cultural spots, adventure activities like canyoneering, caving and trekking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Jrock (Laruku, OOR, AKFG, UVERworld, etc) and Kpop (BTS, Bigbang, 2ne1, TVXQ, etc) Books - mostly fantasy. ASOIAF series, HP series, Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan, Diana Gabaldon plus a few more here and there. Movies - I prefer reading than watching.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel alone for more than a week in a place where English or Filipino is not the primary language :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn more about the people and the places I'm visiting by interacting more with the locals, commuting like them and observe some local activities and celebrations and avoid TOO much touristy ones.
Share more about myself and the country I'm from which I know is mostly misunderstood due to some 'noise'.
Teach... How to use sharepoint?! Lol. Kidding aside, I can teach some Filipino recipes, our language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can make a mean adobo :) That's one of the dish that's very popular in the Philippines. I can also share more about the culture of the Philippines and be your guide if ever you visit my country.
Countries I’ve Visited
Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea
