ABOUT ME

I'm laid back, but I get restless. I love adventuring and exploring. I grew up in the Olympic National Park where three valleys, their rivers, and some clear glacier lakes are the symbols of my homeland. Ask me about my country, and I will tell you that I am a citizen of the Pacific Northwest. And I love sharing that with people.
So that's me and my home, but my real passion is for the water. I love swimming. I love teaching people how to swim, and I love coaching, too. If you hang out with me for a day, chances are you're going swimming.

PHILOSOPHY

The magnetism of life will always pull you in the direction your subconscious dictates. Go with your gut and have fun on the way to where you end up. And, bring friends along, or make them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am always open to new experiences, traveling, and giving up my couch to others who travel, when I can. Only with new experiences in the company of new people can we learn and grow into better participants of this planet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Used couchsurfing on a spontaneous trip to Hawaii. Surfed some comfy couches in the midst of great hosts. Hosted some surfers here in Olympia

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

My home is a beautiful place. We've got bears, cougars, waterfalls that cascade into the ocean, the north western most tip of the continental US, and The Hoh Rainforest! been all over that little peninsula.
Lake Powell, desert! Summer of my life. Wakeboarding, moonlit lake sessions, 50 feet high cliffjumping adventures, next time I'll go higher.

One time I met the Flaming Lips at a gas station. No joke.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I educated tourists to the Olympic National Park about its many wonders for three seasons spent working at a hot springs resort, so I'm a walking guide book to the ONP. But as for me on a personal level, I love learning and sharing a little of myself, so that generally leads to good things....
