HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I both like to host and to surf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I first discovered CS, i thought it was the perfect way to travel on a low budget, and it is off course. But when I started surfing, i realized CS is actually about other things. It's about exchanging experiences and creating friendships between people who think alike. The CS idea of helping out somebody without wanting anything material in return, is very beatiful. The relation between a host and the surfer is a special thing for me.

I've couchsurfed a lot two summers ago. I've been travelling with a friend from Istanbul to St Petersburg and on the road we met so many lovely people because of CS. I'd love to see them all back in Belgium once.

Intereses

-Having a beer with friends
-Travelling, obviously. We live on such a beautiful planet, it would be a waste to stay at home.

-Street Photography

-Languages: i'm trying Russian at the moment. When i'm travelling i try to remember some usefull words in every language. So teach me some!

-Art: I love to wander around in big musea. My favourite artist is Max Ernst. Other stuff i like: Cobra, Russian Avant-gardists, Pop Art, Surrealism,... I also paint some things myself . I like to pimp old furniture and make it trendy again.

*acid jazz: marc moulin, Saint Germain
But actually I can appreciate lots of stuff like lounge, ska, balkan beat, postrock and when it comes to partying i prefer electro.

Algo increíble que he hecho

-Living a Naples for a year, was definitely amazing. I'm crazy about the crazyness of that city.
-I am pretty proud of our trip from Istanbul to St. Petersburg. It was awesome.
