About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel all over as long as chocolate is in reach/ summer '10 Spain-France-Italy-Greece-NYC
ABOUT ME
I have a confession to make, I am a bonafide chocoholic. When I'm not in the kitchen, I'm usually thinking up places I'd like to travel to next. During summer '09 I backpacked through the UK on my own and can't wait to see the rest of the world. I decided to put my passion for baking on hold again for summer '10 while I explore my passion for travel :) I plan on going to France, Spain, Italy, and Greece. Also a roadtrip with girlfriends to NYC in August. In Montreal, when I'm not baking chocolate soufflés, you will usually find me with friends at some concert, comedy night, taking a creative writing class, horseback riding in the forest, dancing at the tamtams on Mont-Royal,planning road trips, trying out the circus... Being socially involved is something that is very important to me. Being active in your community, either on a global or local level has always been a part of my life and something I truly believe in. Ideas for near future: travelling all over the world, work in the UK til my work visa expires, publish novels, open my pâtisserie... I thought I could combine my passion for baking with my passion for human rights by making fair trade goods :) Then again who knows what will happen. I will be leaving the people I care about for a while, but am looking forward to meeting so many new and interesting people!
PHILOSOPHY
I adopt the Me2We philosophy: find meaning in your life and your world by reaching out to others. Focus on our community, our world, instead of myself. Think we, pass it on! most important: balance. Live in the now. Do what you love.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My big sis went couch surfing with her bf a few years ago in Italy and France and loved it, so I thought I would try it out. It seems like a great way to meet tons of people and discover new things. Also, meeting locals seems like the best way to really discover a new place, instead of doing all the typical touristy things.
