ABOUT ME

I studied computer science and media, and work at a small software company now. I sing and play the guitar and write songs, but I rarely find the time for it anymore... I'm generally outgoing and open minded, enjoy quiet nights at home as well as dancing, concerts and going to the movies, hanging out with my friends, and trying new stuff like climbing (though I'm really afraid of heights!). Always open for interesting cultural events.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed a few times in Europe and Australia and am looking forward to host, once I got used to the whole working 40h a week thing. I spread the word about this great community because it has changed the way I travel, I love it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to one CS meeting at vivid lights festival in Sydney and made friends for life that night. And of course all those other times, drinking wine on a roof terrace in Prague, surfing with my Australian host, listening to music and cooking and playing the guitar just like with friends... always amazing. It's that instant bond between people that you get when couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Busking in the streets of Germany. It's amazing how differently people react towards street musicians. It took me some courage to do it at first and whenever I see someone busking now, I feel connected.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to improve my portuguese, learn international cooking recipes, try new things in sports and arts. I can teach a little bit of guitar I guess and english, and how to make east-german Eierschecke cake :)
