About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I´m working to stay dynamic in all aspects. To help and feed my curiosity I need to breathe something else than my own air!

ABOUT ME

I like to get inspired from different cultures, habits, stories, languages, philosofies, politics but mostly art and voices.

I love music, animals, nature, singing, moving, yoga, swimming, diving, talking, laughing, listening, writing, reading, eating and falling in love with people and places.

Im into comparative culture studies and if this wasn't the case I would probably have been a biologist or just an experimenting cook

PHILOSOPHY

Human to human - Nature to nature...
Lose the fear
Ask inside - relate outside
Dare to: Smile Sing Dance

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My boyfriend and I travel around and employ ourselves in openmindedness participating in any way we can. For the timebeing this means mainly meeting up with peeps in LatinAmerica and enjoying lucrative advice and alojamiento from these ;).

We have hosted a great deal using Prokops CSprofile so you´ll have to look there for further references: http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/prokops/

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my first experiences have been spontaniously spurred through private network or even without (therefore not registered here either)! Then came CS and it all became so much BIGGER - almost to the point of uncontrolable ;)

I've hosted more than I've couched which I´m getting close to remedying here in Southamerica.

Through this brilliant network I´ve met so many beautiful inspiring people who have all contributed to enriching my little world and made it easier for us to access equally both places and minds. Brilliant that´s what I said :)

Interests

I´ve been rather engaged with the question of migrationproblematics and cultural encounteres - not to mention clashes - and how to deal with challenges on both human and institutional level. Though what really grabs my attention regarding politics and development unfortunately also has a tendency to overthrow my genuin desire to be optimistic about the future - for all of us...

Connecting through physical movement, music and nature has shown to have a far more positive outcome so thats where I´m currently redirecting my energy

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The simply beautiful and and and totally surprising moment when my boyfriend purposed to me in the sunset over THE KATTEGAT (+ bunfire and sleep-on-beach-seance obviously)(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kattegat) - "Boca del gato" /"Cats mouth" in Denmark. Naturism in these parts are very legal.

- Trekking in the steep green mountains of Slovakia; FATRA
- Picturesque kissing-adventure in Moroco`s berberregions; CASCADES D`OUZOUD
- Camping in the freezing Salar de UYUNI ALONE(!) and feeling in outer space for a moment there
- Touching our Mother of waterfalls: Cataratas de IGUAZU (Argentinian side!!) Take a few days out of your schedule to do this one!
- Tripping in the Moskitia region of Honduras - RIO PLATANO (can be done in 10 days of heavy rafting)
- Travelling around Guatemala in general though river + mountain scenery of LA ALTA VERAPAZ and the lush jungle of PETEN are definately taking the prize
- Enjoying breathtaking moist landscapes around the snowcapped SALKANTAY mountain (6200m)in Peru (better than Macchu Picchu and Huayna together)
- The ISLANDS - but mostly the cloudformations and sunrises - of SAN BLAS in Kuna Yala (some call it Panama, but it´s really not!)

oh the various waterfalls and rivers in MISIONESregion between Paraguay and Brazil are also quite awesome but I´ll have to stop somewhere ;)
