To spend some time moving with no real destination, experiencing new people and ways of living, in the hope to settle on a new way of living my self..

ABOUT ME

I am someone who is interested in almost everything and can find enjoyment in anything new. I have been working for years on producing Olympic Ceremonies and am now trying to find something more worthwhile to fill my life. .

PHILOSOPHY

I have become somewhat of a hippy of late. I believe fairness and equality for all, and would like to encourage that idea throughout my life. I believe that more or less people should be able to do what they want to, meeting people with unusual lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe strongly in trying to engage more directly with each other, both socially and in terms of what we need. To try and cut out our dependency and businesses and computers where we can. I could maybe afford to stay in Hotels, but I want the opportunity to see glimpses of peoples homes and lives.

I don't have a home right now but I am positive that in future, when I do, I will do my best to return the favours.

Interests

Photography, Comics, debating, music, museums, seeing as much stuff as possible, as strange as possible, science, tech, maths, comedy, art. I really can find anything interesting, I love considering everything around me a level deeper than I have to.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of Electronic Music at the moment, Thom Yorke, Nicolas Jaar, Darkside, Jon Hopkins, Four Tet... but in the past I have listened to mostly 'rock' music, I love Alt-J, Foals, Bon Iver... a huge huge range, anything with some passion.

The Departed, Primer, The Fighter, Harry Potter, Batman, anything that is well constructed and executed.

The Idiot - Dostoevsky, David Mitchell, Ian Banks, Shantaram, Harry potter, Song of Ice and Fire, Life of Pi, Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night Time, a Picture of Dorian Gray....

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook, I can shop, I can perform any basic house hold duties. I can do IT stuff, I can edit photos and vides and music. I will basically give anything a go.

I can also offer long rambling conversations about science, philosophy, music and art.
