I'm a 25 yo french girl who loves nature, travelling, meeting people and discovering new cultures. I'm a sustainable development consultant because I dream of a better world where everyone could really born equals but there's still work to do !
I'm born in Bordeaux (France) but I lived two years in La Réunion (french island near Madagascar) for a master degree on tropical biodiversity. Now I'm living for a little more than 2 years in Québec (Canada) and enjoy the winter pleasures !
So I'm used to travel and meet people from different country and culture that my own and I really enjoy that.
If you host me I'll be really glad to exchange with you and to learn the way of life in your country.
I don't mind about animals (except spiders that scared the hell out of me) and I love cats and dogs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think travelling is really funnier when you meet locals and learn how they leave / think.
I already took a 14 days trip around north east USA in couch surfing with two friends (references are on their profiles) and we met so many beautiful people that where really helpful to discover the best of their city.
I havn't had yet the chance to host anyone because I don't have a flat of my own yet but I'd like to do it one day.

Interests

When I travel I like to see the big monument of the city but my favourite thing is to share the way of life of the locals, so don't hesitate if you want to take me some place you like. For example I love to go out on bars on night to listen little live concerts (because I love music, almost of kind except maybe electro and metal that I'm less used to listen).
I also love a good walk in nature (even if I don't walk really fast) and I'm learning photography with my reflex. I love to photograph nature scene particulary in macro mode, and people living their life and showing emotions.
Honestly I have a lot of interest and I'm very curious so don't hesitate to ask me question and talk to me about your passions.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is a wide range of styles going from Muse to Mackelmore, including Norah Jones, Hocus Pocus, Elivs, Ska-P, Ayo, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tryo, Ray Charles and many more.
My favorite movie is probably V for Vendetta, but I also really love the Hunger Games, the Ender Strategy, Love Actually, Harry Potter, Lord of the Ring, Intouchables, all Tim Burton's and of course, all the Disney's especially the Lion King.
For the book, I have loved the Harry Potter (especially the 5, the order of the phoenix) and I really enjoy a good polar like The book with no name, Millenium, and almost every book from the sonatine editions !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For my master degree internship I went on a desert Island to study littoral vegetation and it's effect on green turtles.
It's called the Scattered Islands, it's french islands in the Mozambic Canal, inhabited only by small groups of soldiers. I spent 40 days on one of these islands, with 15 soldiers and 2 other scientists.
It really was an amazing experience to live and I know I had an enormous chance to be able to live it.
What I enjoyed the most was walking on the beautiful white beaches with no human traces on it and watch turtles lay their eggs.

I'd love to help you the way I can while I'll be at your place. I can help you with cooking, cleaning and taking care of pets of course.
I also love to share my experiments and point of view about the world but I'm really curious to meet other point of view to help me better understand differences and adjusting my comprehension of the world.
