I enjoy cycling, hiking, and playing various sports, and I am missing my group yoga practice since the pandemic shutdown began. I studied Earth Science and Geology for my bachelors and Mining Engineering for my masters. I enjoy feeling connected; to the people around me, my community, my environment. I am very active in my (liberal) church (and open minded to other political viewpoints). I like joining in when someone has a good idea. I am family oriented but far from achieving that dream. Wish me luck, this school year will be my first year teaching!

I am here to find a roommate and maybe a place to rent long term. I want to live with a roommate so I am starting my search by fielding for people on Couch Surfing. It seems like some of the posts on Craig's List for roommates are not legitimate.

Lately I've been cruising to 90's hip hop and rap.

I'm into science fiction, movies like Contact, Sunshine, and Cloud Atlas. My favorite show is Star Trek, I'm working my way though all of it. I've seen parts of TOS, all of TNG, and up to season 5 of DS9. I also have been watching Altered Carbon and The Addams Family.

I like fantasy and sifi literature. The classics like Bram Stoker's Dracula, Jules Verne, H.G. Wells; and contemporary authors like Robin Hobb and Juliet Marillier.

I can teach you about Geology. When we're on a hike I can give you a narrative about the epics of the past environments and by the features that endure today.
