Experiencing through locals is the exact experience I have been longing for and now I can't wait to go on my next trip. I'm always searching for ways to cut down costs and extend trips, and staying at a locals house would be amazing! Especially on an au pair budget, it can be hard to travel, and time off is also very far and few between, so any chance I have to travel I love to take! From a weekend to a school break I hope to be able to stay with you and share experiences.

Intereses

I have to say whether I'm traveling or at home, my number one interests are the sunrise and sunset. On my trips to Europe I always try to scout local places that would be the best for at least one sunrise and sunset in each city I go to. Any tips on these spots would be A++
Along with that, I'm interested in nature, hikes, local food, and music.

I was definitely raised on the classics: Stones, Tom Petty, Beatles, James Taylor, Boston, Bruce Hornsby, the list goes on. I'm not picky though, I truly can appreciate any type of music and especially love going to shows and concerts. My playlists include everything from country to rap.

I don't really have a favorite movie but am always game for a good action movie or rom-com flick.

Being a traveler, one of my recent favorite books is Eat, Pray, Love (of course) and a long time favorite of mine is The Broken Teaglass.

Something I've done that people tell me is "amazing" was travel Europe for the first time alone as my 21st birthday gift to myself. I say people "tell me it's amazing" because truthfully I don't think it should be considered amazing, I wish it was considered normal and more people did it!! I've always been independent and it was truly a remarkable experience. After traveling Europe more with groups and other people, I still had the best time when it was just me and endless possibilities.

I can share stories and good company with hosts! I am such a people person and truly love making connections while out traveling, especially while alone it makes a great difference to be able to share the experience with others around me.
