About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Tourists don't know where they've been, travelers don't know where they're going. " - Paul Theroux
ABOUT ME
describing myself... not as easy as it sounds :)
I love meeting new people, laughing, having fun, travelling to cities and countries I've never been before and I try to keep smiling in each situation
I was on a round the world trip in 2014 / 2015 traveling mainly South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji but also France, Norway and Panama. I know, the last three countries don't actually fit to the route but in the end longterm travelling is mostly about being spontaneous and adjusting to the situation.
After more than a year of travelling I returned home, started working again, moved into my own flat and miss travelling. The year abroad was one of the best things that will ever happen in my life.
I now decided that I need an other break. Unfortunatelly I don't have the time to travel an other year again but yet, my boss allowed me a two months vacation and I will use these two months to travel South America for the firtst time in my life: Argentina and Chile combined with a one week Antarctice cruise and one week on the Islas Malvinas.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a sporty person, who loves being in the mountains and in the nature, being active and discover things. But I can hang out in a café or by the beach the whole day and reading a book as well.
After one year of travelling and couchsurfing every once in a while I can now say, that some of the best friends I met around the world I met while couchsurfing. That's why I love this platform that much.

Music, Movies, and Books
You definietly need to watch "A map for Saturday", a travellers documentary movie out of 2005. This movie is kind of old but it's a 100% what travelling is about. You'll love it!

My greatest experience was walking across the great wall in china - I wanna have much of those experiences in future as this is absolutely amazing
Also: trekking in the Himalayas standing on 3700 m and watching the sky turning from super black with hail and storm to sunny and clear blue
