Hi, my name is Betty. I'm a Taiwanese Digital Growth Consultant at a unicorn company called Insider, where our mission is to empower brands to deliver personalized experiences across web, mobile, and ad channels. Prior to that, I worked as a Go-to-Market professional at ASUS, where I helped overseas branch offices succeed through communication. When I clock off from work, I enjoy business blogging, lecturing, picnicking, hiking, camping, and traveling. Inspired by the NYC bar scene, I'm now a cheerful rookie part-time bartender in a local bar in Taipei every Friday and Saturday night.

In 2022, I had the opportunity to travel to Dubai, Turkey, Bucharest, Warsaw, Berlin for work, and Copenhagen, Paris, Boston, NYC for leisure. In 2023, I plan to explore more cities in Asia. I hope to meet like-minded friends along this wonderful journey. If you ever visit Taiwan, please don't hesitate to let me know. Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

Traveling is all about meeting new people and experiencing authentic cultures. I have had wonderful CS experiences in NYC and Boston, where hosts took me to plenty local events, tried local food (love the gigantic lobster🦞), shared the hidden history of the city, and their life journey. The memories we shared are something meaningful that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Hopefully someday when I have grandchildren, I can impress them with cool stories, and inspire them to also live life to the fullest.

Apart from traveling in other cities, I also hope that I get to connect with travelers around the world and help people to learn better about Taiwan. The beauty of Taiwan is not only about food and cultures, but also people’s hospitality. You will know what I mean once you land in Taiwan. 🌞

I was accepted to a UC Berkely Entrepreneurship program. Due to funds shortage, I deciced to fundraise my trip expenses though a crowdfunding platform. By pitching to EMBA students, professors, NGO, cold emailing on Linkedin, and story-telling on social media, I have raised NTD 180K in 36 days, and started the journey in Silicon Valley.
