Overview
About Me
I study both Art history & Archaeology and English Language & Comparative Literature in Istanbul. Sounds a lot, right :) Basically it means I love to talk about anything about art, movies, theater, music , paintings or architecture.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have seen many cities before couchsurfing but I think that there are two things make traveling great; tasting new foods and meeting new people. CS provides the second one. Like a city, a person is a story too. This is why I am not interested in finding only a couch or I am not hosting people who do not care the host.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love Tony Gatlif ( Vengo and Gadjo Dilo are great), Emir Kustrica, Ferzan Özpetek, Fatih Akın and Xavier Dolan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitchhiked once for long distance in Turkey with my friends and I met amazing people. I will never forgot how they helped us, took care us and even shared their drinks. I also like cooking and I can teach you some Turkish meals.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am very much interested in Turkish traditional dance. I can teach you some moves from belly dance, 'halay' and another Turkish local dances. Or you can teach me your local dance figures as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Beside cultural exchange, I can only offer a couch in a living room for surfers. Because currently I live in a shared flat, it is not only me who will the surfer meet but also my flatmates. For hosts, I can share my knowledge for art, dance and food. One more thing; To know you better, I expect from surfers to send me their favourite song.
