About Me

Ahoj!
I'm Betül from Turkey. I'm an architecture student at Abdullah Gul University in Turkey. Currently, I'm studying in Ostrava Technical University within the scope of Erasmus Exchange Program for 1 semester. I've gone to an English course in Minessota, USA for 1 month and lived with host family. Also, I've participated in Erasmus+ project in Hungary which was about youth empowerment. During these experiences, I tried to have new friends and visit new places as much as I could. And I'm always open to new adventures and experiences.
I like to explore new cultures and meet new people from different countries. I'm interested in origami, handicrafts, and snowboard. Also, I play a traditional music instrument called "Ney". Additionally, I'd love to teach my mother tongue language Turkish to everyone with pleasure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The homes are the most private places which tell about people and their cultures. Moreover, as an architecture student, It's a really good chance to discover local houses from different locations. And I believe that it's impossible to get these values just with staying in hostels. That's why I'm trying to find great hosts to meet with to learn their culture and listen to their stories.
