Overview
About Me
I’m a biologist graduated from the maximum house of studies, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (U.N.A.M). I say it with great pride, because in Mexico you can find great cultural and biological diversity.
I love spending time out in nature and being surrounded by plants. Here I can either climb trees or try to hug cacti (hahaha). Also, I like to observe animals (from small insects to huge mammals). I do not know everything about life and biology; maybe that's what I like the most, since there is always something new to discover.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend recommended using CS for a trip that my boyfriend and I were taking to the Riviera Maya in Mexico. I’m interested in meeting more people in the world and sharing languages, tastes, culture and history. I enjoy talking and having a good time. The planet does not need barriers; it needs better bridges that unite us and teach us to coexist and live in harmony with all living beings.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am open to listening to new music, but I definitely like Pink Floyd, Dead Can Dance, The Cure, David Bowie, James, Love Is Colder than Dead, Love Spirals Downwards, Lacrimosa, Namnambulu, Depeche Mode, New Order, The Killers, Muse, The Cars, Muse, Johnny Cash, The Gathering, Clan of Xymox & many more…
I even like trova, music by Silvio Rodriguez and Aute. There are also bands in Spanish like Soda Stereo, Caifanes, Zoé, Kinky, Santa Sabina and Hello Seahorse, among others.
I’m ignorant when it comes to books, but I’m interested in learning more… Many times because of work or study, I do not have time to read more. Sometimes, I buy books and keep them; I really want to read them. There are some books that really made an impression on me at some point in my life: Edgar Allan Poe (The Complete Story Collection), Umberto Eco (The Name of the Rose), JRR Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings), Carlos Castaneda (Las enseñanzas de Don Juan), Rulfo (El llano en llamas), Pablo Neruda (Veinte poemas de amor y una canción desesperada), Laura Esquivel (Como agua para chocolate), Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer (Poemas) and nowadays I buy books by Diana Gabaldon (Outlander), Terry Brooks (The Sword of Shannara), and JK Rowling (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone). However, I am generally open to more recommendations.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Something interesting that has happened to me in my life ... this is a difficult question that I still cannot answer. I have done several things that have fascinated me in my life (I do not say it to sound pretentious), but I really do not know what to answer haha! I guess living!
Teach, Learn, Share
Me gusta compartir el amor que siento hacia la naturaleza. Amo mi carrera y deseo conocer más lugares del mundo.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would like to share anecdotes and have a nice chat about culture, the things that life teaches us and above all what other people think about Mexicans.
The world needs more compassion which is generated by changing our points of view and understanding the problems others face. Let us live each day in the best way possible without harming others.
