The tapestry of my life is colourful and broad. People describe me as generous and fun. I usually say, "Funny for an accountant, that's me". Life is, or should be simple. My partner and I like to live life by some simple values. Fun, laughter, and happiness are very high on that list so we are happy to open our home, pool, bar, and couch for like minded people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have travelled extensively and now live in my slice of paradise in Hervey Bay. The most memorable experiences of my travels are those shared with other people. New friends, old friends, or just people passing by sometimes. My travels were largely pre-internet and my travel pics were taken on film, posted in a lead bag back to home base, and sometimes not developed for a few months if journeys were extended.
Couchsurfing is a way to continue to have those memorable experiences even though I may not have gone far from home. If my host experience helps other citizens of the world have a wonderful experience through sharing my place, then count me in.

Interests

Broad range of interests. Love sport, music and travel. Have been lucky enough to see a lot of the world and realise there is much more to see. Cannot do it all myself so hoping to experience a little bit of international culture at my place in the bay.

Music is life. That's why our hearts have a beat. Music festivalling is one of our favourite things to do. Anything from Hip Hop to RnB (the old style Rnb and new style), Rock, country. Just anything really.
