CURRENT MISSION

Phew ............. as I get older I realise there's so much to see and do with little time to do it. So, myself and my partner decided to sell the house and car and travel as much of the world as possible. At the time of writing we have travelled extensively around Asia, have been to the UK to catch up with friends and family (and eat all the food we have missed) and have finally arrived in Canada.

Adrenalin junkie with itchy feet! Realised I don't just want to work to gain material possessions. Would rather have little and see the true gems on this planet. And what is more valuable than people and their cultures?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have hosted to some amazing people with fantastic stories to tell (got to confess I do mother the younger ones!). Surfed once in Hong Kong, quite difficult to surf in the places we have visited in Asia but will be looking for hosts shortly in the UK and Canada. I love meeting people from different countries and cultures and sharing experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow, the list is so long I wouldn't know where to start.
I did participate in an installation by Spencer Tunick in Newcastle, UK where we (hundreds of people) had to pose naked in various parts of the city, then do a live installation on live BBC3 television!

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure what I could teach others; I do work with people with intellectual disabilities and more recently people with dementia - so just ask! Love learning - about everything - I am a very curious person! Love sharing experiences and a love of life.
