Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to do and see it all!
ABOUT ME
I can be characterized as a free bird. I love to travel and struggle (yes, I am a bit morbid!) because I believe its the only way to grow. I am interested in pushing boundaries and exploring my inner strength through change. I have started my travels in Southeast Asia and I look forward to wherever the wind takes me!
PHILOSOPHY
Everybody dies but not everybody lives. I have been reminding myself of this whenever I feel scared to do something that is not comfortable. I have been sheltered in a comfortable bubble for the last couple of years and find that I am no longer growing. Everyone looks for safety and predictability because it is easy but with growth comes struggle. Its time to break a sweat again. Im ready to remind myself that I can struggle and still survive. In fact, I look forward to it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love the CS concept of meeting and helping like minded (and hopefully not so like minded) people. I look forward to meeting new people and adventures and helping those that have been bitten by the travel bug as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Im just starting my adventure!
Interests
I love the water. I have been playing waterpolo for 15 years and find the water very calming! I grew up in SD and have had the luxury of frolicking in the ocean since birth! I also love history and reading about past civilizations. I love to sing and dance and like to be spontaneous. I literally fly by the seat of my pants! I can go on about my interests but I add to the list every day.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love biographies and non fiction books. Lately I have been escaping into fantasy for a change of pace though. When it comes to music I love a variety of genres. I literally can break out the bluegrass n then turn on some bubble gum pop! I enjoy all kinds of movies. I have been on a documentary kick lately but Id say stupid humor is my favorite. Anything with Will Farrell...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Strangely, the most amazing things I have done were in my own country. I drove cross country on a Harley and learned how beautiful my own backyard was. I also saw the sun rise over Mt. Haleakala in Maui. It was such a surreal feeling to be in top of a dead world still in slumber while I was bitten awake from the chill of the air. I have done some fun and adventurous stuff but the moments that really stick with me are the occasional instances when I have felt very small in the world.
